Just Answering Questions: The Q & A Returns!
Last call before the election! All inquiries welcome!
UPDATE OCT 29 2:00 CST: Wow, that was fast! Thank you for all the terrific questions — I’ve got a LOT and I am going to attempt to answer all of them, because I don’t like breaking my word. But I’ve got to close down the questions section now before my Q & A starts looking like Ulysses.
If you didn’t get to ask a question this time round, I plan to do another Q & A next month, so come back then! (Make sure you’re a paying subscriber.)
My answers will be published in a separate article before the election. Thanks again!

Hello subscribers! It’s time for our monthly Q & A, “Just Answering Questions!”
I did a Q & A in September, and it was so popular I had to shut it down three days later because I got so many questions! I’m planning to run the Q & A the same way this time round, so get your questions in while you can.
I will post my answers before the election so that we have something diverting to read during this stressful time. As always, feel free to ask me anything!
For those new to this feature, here’s how it works:
1) To ask a question, join as a paying subscriber, and post your question in the comments section below.
2) I will answer as many questions as I can in a separate article that will run a few days later. Sometimes I bundle up questions and focus on common themes.
3) The article with the answers in it will be open to everyone. In other words, you need to be a paying subscriber to submit a question, but not to read the Q & A or leave comments.
4) Some might say refusing to paywall goes against my financial interests. They would be correct! But it is the interest of civic inquiry to keep discussion open. I don’t like folks feeling left out. However, I also am very grateful to the paying subscribers who have sustained my newsletter, so I offer this bonus Q & A as a thank you!
I call this feature “Just Answering Questions” because there are a number of topics that, if I were to broach them out of the blue, would be like throwing a bomb into your inbox. If you’ve read my books, you know they cover a lot of disturbing ground. This way, you take the lead in choosing the topic, and hey man, I’m just answering questions!
If you are already a paid subscriber, you are all set — you can submit a question in the comments section below!
If you’re not a paying subscriber, this is an excellent reason to become one. In addition to getting a personalized response, your support keeps this newsletter going. I have kept my newsletter free and it will stay free. Voluntary paying subscribers make it possible for me to continue writing and for readers who cannot afford to subscribe to read everything.
OK, let’s go — ask away in the comments section below!

What do you think trump was referring to when he said at MSG:”I think with our little secret we are gonna do really well with the house, our little secret is having a big impact, he and I have a little secret, we will tell you what it is when the race is over.” States not certifying the vote counts and kicking the election to the house? And does it concern you at all? Or is it a narcissistic fantasy?
Which Duran Duran album is the best?
(Yes, hi, I'm disassociating today.)
